Isn't a wedding all about having a fun and a fabulous time!! Along with some truely intimate family reunions and quality time..I think so anyway..

I sometimes have to pinch myself, feeling so lucky to get to do what I really love.. truly be a part of a significant and wonderful day in a couple's life. It comes with great responsibility and I'm very passionate about getting it all and trying to to be everywhere, although you probably won't notice me most of the day!

I personally photograph every wedding and I do not hire other photographers to extend the business beyond what I do myself and and my experience is quite significant.

All the creative post production editing to complete the images is exclusively done by me also..and I design all the albums personally. When you book Studio K8 for your wedding, you book me, Kate Deagan. Consequently, I'm only available for a small number of weddings a year and I never shoot any more than one in any one week.

Choosing a photographer...

Your wedding will go ahead, regardless of weather, last minute dramas, cars breaking down, etc! But in reality, so many things can and do present major challenges on the day... This is why you hire a professional.. Consider your overall budget and how all your decisions will present in this display of colour and style. If you don't get a wonderful record of all of it, it's gone!

A wedding photographer needs a great deal of experience, compared to other photographers, we don't have control of everything like in a studio, it's happening now and often the time is limited, the light is going, there's lots of people in the way to manage and work around. Without doubt it's the most difficult photography job there is!

Retouching & Digital Editing

It's a huge benefit to have the skill and ability to manipulate the images afterwards!

We can change and improve many visual aspects of digital photos.. This process requires long hours at the computer, in fact, many more hours than the actual shooting stage... As a photographer, this digital dark room is a blessing and gives us control of our work.



Ultra close ups?

Really close shots taken with professional equipment will show the detail exceptionally well. In some cases, this is not what we want, so I do quite specific skin work on close ups for this reason.

Wedding Albums

Albums are optional, you can include one if you wish, or leave it till later. I design stunning and unique albums, each one is completely different. A variety of albums can be viewed online from my email information pack, when enquiring about availability and pricing...

Packages and Pricing

My approach to wedding packages and charges is very simple.. I give you a complete package price with or without an album, your choice. Or, albums can also be done later if you want.. but your intial package will have everything you wanted in the first place.

AVAILABILITY
