Today, transparency in business is excellent. Anyone can review a product or service and the information is generally easy to find online.

I recommend searching the forums on wedding directory sites, like Easy Weddings, or Wedding Central, there are quite a few of them and they give you an opportunity to share ideas, get recommendations, answer questions etc.

Recommendations from people who've used a supplier first hand are easily found, I've had great success personally with choices this way. In my business, 75% of the weddings I photograph come from recommendations by others!
